ArchiDesign was formed in 2003 when principle Hamish McCaul returned from living and working in London. With 10 years experience firstly as a carpenter then as a draftsman he formed the company and started working as a designer in Wanaka. In 2006 the business moved to Dunedin and began to specialise in commercial work.
Today ArchiDesign is a diverse design practice with the skills and resources to complete any project from simple alterations to multi - unit residential developments to large scale commercial fit-outs.

Qualified as a tradesman carpenter, now a Licensed Building Practitioner with a Design 2 licence and a professional member of ADNZ - Architectural Designers New Zealand.
Sam graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Draughting from Otago Polytechnic School of architecture building and engineering in 2013. Over his 6 years at Archidesign Sam has worked on a range of projects both residential and commercial, most notably his work on both The Burlington Executive Apartments, and the Metro Townhouse complex, currently under construction. In his spare time Sam enjoys spending time outdoors, and furniture construction.
Jenny graduated with a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Otago Polytechnic in 2010 and has previous experience working for a large educational institution working in facilities management. Jenny is an intern member of the ADNZ, and her interests outside of work include keeping up-to -date with the creative arts scene, baking, and enjoying Dunedin's wealth of heritage architecture.
Abby graduated with her Bachelor of Architectural Studies in 2016, and later her Masters of Architecture (Professional) in 2018. Her Masters Thesis focused on adaptable residential design for the flood prone area of South Dunedin. Outside of work Abby enjoys furniture design, and getting lost in a good book.
